The Review Journal-Update

I've been at the review journal for almost a month now, I can't believe how much time has flown by, and even more so at how much I have learned. The real world experience of your career is completely different from the school environment in a refreshing and exciting way.
It really is fulfilling to come to work everyday and love what you do.

AIGA - Student Chapter Logo

AIGA - Las Vegas Student Chapter Logo

I was given the opportunity to design the logo for our Student Chapter. After coming up with a few concepts, I'm very happy with the results.
The logo pays homage to the lean and font of the AIGA official logo with it's own creative twist. It works in color, or in black and white for more cost effective printing purposes.

Working for dodea

My graduation date slowly approaches, while new work prospects open up. I continue to be a freelance artist for The Drink Ink, while also taking on the full time job of working for Dodea, a distance learning program.
Currently in the works is my graduation package, which will include my business identity as well as give aways at the actual networking event in March.

AIGA - Student Chapter

Our student chapter AIGA has officially launched this past week with a long list of participants.
I have joined the ranks as Vice President.

On the horizon is the deadline for the AIGA postcard contest of "What's Your Cause?"
Ending November 9th, with a gallery showing on the 19th. Postcards will be printed live on Graphic's West digital press.

For my cause I have chosen the "generic," topic of Peace, although I am hoping that the message is unique enough to stop people in their tracks to really make them think and be absorbed in the message. Below is a rough draft presented in a class for an assignment, the final will be done later this week.
